The Santa Maria Arts Council
Local artists and teachers founded the Santa Maria Arts Council in 1965, among them painter and teacher Nat Fast. Since 1972 its Individual Grants in the Arts have supported more than 400 locally trained artists in dance, drama, music and visual art.
This hub is the Council's newest project: one shared place for everyone making and enjoying art in the Santa Maria Valley.
